Our Promise

At h.davis we take pride in the work that we do and the products we send home with you. Our guarantee is that if you are not completely satisfied within 14 days of receiving your services we will see that they are corrected for you.

Purchasing professional at-home care is important to support your new style. However, if they do not meet your level of satisfaction, simply bring back your gently used product within 14 days for an in-salon credit.

Changing Stylists

Please feel free to change stylists within the salon at your convenience. This provides you with a variety of talent and some flexibility in booking appointments. We suggest having two or three regularly so you are always assured of knowledgeable and personalized service regardless of emergencies, vacations, illness or unexpected travel plans. We are very team oriented and like to make sure you, our guest, is well taken care of regardless of who you see on a regular basis.

Green Circle Salon

salon h.davis is proud to be a Green Circle Salon. Our partnership with Green Circle allows us to recycle a large percentage of the waste we produce every day, waste our local recycling facilities cannot handle.

We recycle our empty color tubes, used foils, hair clippings and even leftover color! Protecting our local and global environment is very important to us as a team and we believe that small changes in our routine can have a big impact on the world around us.

No Show and Cancellation Policy

Need to cancel or reschedule? We understand things come up! Please just give us 24-48 hours notice so that we can fill your appointment. Appointments canceled or changed with less than 24 hours notice will be scheduled for the stylist’s next availability. But please, don't no show. A “no show” is defined as an appointment being missed with no phone call or notice to the salon. We will be adopting the following policy regarding ‘No Show’s

1st No Show: darn it, we missed you. Give us a call if you’d like to reschedule your appointment

2nd No Show: we were looking forward to seeing you! We are happy to schedule you the next availability with your preferred stylist or if you’d like in sooner, we can schedule you with another stylist who has more availability

3rd no show: you are welcome to book the soonest availability with a well trained level 1 stylist. We will require a deposit for this and any future appointments.

 

 

 

Children In the Salon

At h.davis, we understand how precious your time is—and how rare it can be to carve out a moment just for you. Your appointment with us is meant to be more than a haircut or color; it’s an opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy a personalized experience in a calming, adult-focused environment.

With that in mind, we kindly ask that you avoid bringing children who aren’t receiving a service to your appointment. We say this with complete understanding—parenting is a full-time job, and we know it’s not always easy to find childcare. But to truly enjoy the services, attention, and peace of your visit, we want you to be able to fully focus on you—without the added responsibility of keeping little ones entertained or safe in a space designed for adult self-care.

Tips to Make Your Color Last

Color Care Information

So you love your new look, but what now?!

Below are suggestions made by our trained professionals to keep your color vibrant and gorgeous as long as possible!

  • Use salon quality shampoo, conditioner and products. Not sure what to choose? Talk to your stylist! They’ve been trained to diagnose your hair needs and make appropriate product recommendations
  • Wash your hair in cool/cold water. This will keep the cuticle (outer layer) of your hair closed which will protect your color and increase shine
  • Don’t wash your hair every day. We know this one is a doozy for some people! Struggling to skip washes? Chat with your stylist for suggestions
  • When towel drying, focus on patting and gently squeezing the hair rather than rubbing it roughly. Use a microfiber towel or an Aquis turban (sold in our salon).
  • Turn the hot tools down and crank up the use of a thermal protectant. Most hair only needs a temperature of 310 to 350. Excessive use of heat on the hair will cause your color to fade and damage your hair
  • Make your next appointment. No color is truly permanent, eventually it will need to be refreshed! Prebooking your appointments will ensure your color is flawless year round.

Your guide to purchasing and receiving hair extension services

Extension Information

Whether you're looking for added length, fullness, or both, our extension services are completely customized to you. Here's what to expect from start to finish:

1. Consultation (Required)

Your journey begins with a complimentary consultation. During this appointment, one of our extension specialists will:

  • Assess your hair type, condition, and goals
  • Discuss extension methods (tape-in, sew-in, keratin bond, etc.)
  • Match your color and texture
  • Answer any questions you may have
  • Provide a personalized quote

Note: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your extension appointment. This deposit is applied to your final service total.

2. Ordering Your Hair

Once we’ve selected the perfect method and color match, we custom order the highest quality, professional-grade hair for you. We do not keep stock on-hand to ensure every guest receives fresh, tailored extensions. Hair typically arrives within 5–10 business days. For the integrity of your service and to ensure the highest quality results, h.davis will only install professional extension hair that has been purchased directly through the salon.

3. Extension Installation Appointment

When your hair arrives, we’ll schedule your installation. This appointment includes:

  • Precision placement and installation
  • Blending and cutting to seamlessly match your natural hair
  • Styling and aftercare education

Plan on 2 to 4 hours, depending on the method and number of extensions.

4. Aftercare & Maintenance

To keep your extensions looking and feeling amazing, we’ll guide you through at-home care and recommend the best products. Regular maintenance is essential and may include:

  • Reinstallation every 6–8 weeks (for tape-in or sew-in)
  • Brushing and washing instructions
  • Professional check-ins for adjustments or removal
